Plane

We are flying from Warsaw to Amsterdam KLM flight the morning of 6:45 unless the delay is always off and always inform the captain that the tower in Warsaw, had trouble with the computer and did not submit data to the start. It happened to me is the second of two times:)

Well, but after 40 minutes, fly away. At the airport in Amsterdam, you should go on the other end of the airport - it takes about 30 minutes.

After the occupation of seats in the aircraft (Boeing 747-400), looking out for opportunities to address a more comfortable location. Our place, albeit at two extremes of the three in a row, but if we had 3 seats for myself, it would be better:)

Anyway, you can read www.seat guru. Com - it turns out that the place is important for a long flight. Unfortunately, airlines do not offer the best seats in the online check-in or at the airport - just do not know how to select them prior to departure.
General advice is that to enter the plane and take the last place that will give us the best. You can also book two extremes of the three in a row - in the worst case you will need to ask the person in the middle to be traded, because we want to sit together - but duz is a chance that nobody will take place between two other people.

So after a failed attempt to take two seats in row three local (at the last moment arrived passengers) proved that it is empty 4 places in the last row. It is true that there can not be broken seats, but you can just lie on two seats and sleep like in bed. Shortcoming may be the person undergoing the toilet or those which straightens the bone and just wander the empty space at the end of the aircraft.

Flies to San Francisco.

A long queue, but because our airplane flew a plane from Asia - a lot of people in India. Americans are well-organized queue and within 20 minutes of the crowd 600 people legally no queue. Security Officer asked whether on vacation, and without waiting for an answer tells how to make fingerprints, photograph and sticks to stay for 6 months. From what I noticed no one was standing by the window for longer than 2 minutes.
We collect baggage and exit to the main. No baggage check does not exist, although if someone has eg 6 suitcases (and there were some) are directed to verify. But it's really sporadic cases. Of course, all bags are scanned and if something is suspicious will open - but I'm not sure if still in Poland or already in the U.S..

So 30 minutes after arrival we are ready for the next flight to Las Vegas. We have three hours before the terminal wolne.Wychodzimy to enjoy the California sun and air.

Then we go to check-in and give your luggage.

Interestingly, before entering the terminal is a national security check is greater than in Warsaw and Amsterdam. Including scanning the presence of some elements on their toes:) Only in men.

Check-in and luggage fit in the machine. In case of problems is to help an employee for 30 positions now:) but really the check-in and print out stickers for luggage is not a philosophy, and I'm surprised that Poland still does not do that - it would be much cheaper, and above all faster. It should be remembered that the lines in the U.S. are saving mode, so if someone bought the ticket after June 13 it pays extra for luggage at check-in.

Scheduled to fly away. Time of flight turbulence were announced and the approach to landing. A little windy. It's getting a bit scary. The plane almost touched the runway, but a gust of wind caused the slightly tilted and the pilot sequence engine rather than decrease, being 5 meters above the waist hides the undercarriage, gives the full power of engines and flies to the second approach. Of course, getting on an airplane noise - like everybody knows that it is standard procedure, but it is still fear. The pilot says after taking a relapse - after some 10 minutes, and reports that he was a gust of wind so we try again. The second attempt goes perfectly - "Welcome to Las Vegas, at last" - which is rewarded with applause - and outside the Polish do not happen too often.
